Our Approach to Care
At Lumen Dental, we believe in providing treatment based on professional judgment, clinical expertise, and your best interest. Because of this, we are not aligned with the limitations often imposed by managed care plans such as HMOs, which can restrict treatment options.
Understanding Your Dental Insurance and ultimately its limitations
Dental insurance is designed to help offset the cost of care and typically covers a portion of treatment rather than the full amount. Its really considered to be “discount plan” these days. Coverage varies by plan, and our team will do our best to help you understand your benefits and expected costs.
While we do our best to estimate your benefits, please keep in mind:
- Coverage and reimbursements are determined by your insurance company
- Not all procedures may be fully covered
- Patients are ultimately responsible for their account

Payment Policy
To maintain the highest standard of care at a reasonable cost, payment is due at the time services are rendered. We offer transparent pricing and will review all costs with you before treatment.

If you do not have dental insurance, we offer flexible options to help make your care affordable. Our team will work with you to discuss treatment options and payment solutions that fit your needs and we also participate with Care Credit.
